Valerie was awarded Order of the Barrister, however, she enjoys research and writing. The areas of law she finds most interesting are Family Law, Criminal Defense, and Taxation. She chose the law to help people and someday wants to create and implement aversion programs for at-risk youths. Mentoring teenage children are one of her favorite pastimes.

Outside of work, she is the mother of a beautiful daughter named Myjoi. Valerie enjoys cooking, taking road trips, hosting events, and is an avid sports fanatic. Valerie is currently the Attorney Support Specialist at Tess House Law, PLLC, and is excited to see where her legal career takes her.
